We're from Atlanta — about 90 minutes south of here — and we've been making the drive up to Blue Ridge for the better part of fifteen years. At some point, the drive felt too short. So we stayed.
The Lodge started as a dream for our extended family. We wanted one place — big enough for everyone, private enough to actually feel like a getaway, and beautiful enough that no one would want to leave. When we found this ridge, that was it.
We designed every corner of it around the way our family actually gathers: big meals, late nights on the deck, lazy mornings with coffee and a view that still stops us cold every time. We wanted our guests to feel that same thing.
We live in Atlanta. We love this place like a second home — because it is one. When you're here, you have our number, and we mean it. We respond the same day. Mike greets every group at check-in and walks you through the whole property before stepping back and giving you your space.

Some of the best trail hiking in North Georgia. We've done it in every season and it never gets old — especially the ridge views in fall. Go early in the morning before it gets busy.

Our kids have been going here for years. Lake paddleboarding, kayaks, all of it — but the lily pad floating obstacle course is what they come back for every single time. Bring dry clothes.
